YOGA TEACHER BIO:
I began to practice yoga in 2000, when I was looking for a low-impact form of exercise during my pregnancy. I continued to practice casually until 2005 when I found a studio class in my hometown offering Iyengar yoga. My experience practicing with a dedicated instructor changed my perspective of yoga into something I knew could be much more than just exercise, and I began to build a consistent practice. I immersed myself in the philosophy of yoga and felt a shift within me that I had never felt before.
I received my 200-hr yoga teacher certification from Casa de Yoga in 2015. My intention is to offer yoga to diverse communities as an option congruent to therapy and spiritual growth. I teach Yoga Foundations, Hatha, Vinyasa, Kids, and Power classes. I am also certified to teach Barre. I am a certified in massage therapy and continue to advance my knowledge through trainings, workshops, and personal practice.
I know yoga has the potential to change people's lives. Practice raises the vibration of the individual and connects community to a higher level of consciousness. We can find peace in a world that is chaotic. Above all else, I want to help people connect to a path towards unconditional self-love.
